Mississinewa 1812 returns in brand new location

Grant County’s annual reenactment of The War of 1812 is back in a new location south of Marion and North of Gas City.

Reenactor Jeremy Moore said that the new location is much nicer than the old site and provides more space for the 1812 village that the old venue could not accommodate.

The Mississinewa Battlefield Society plans to construct buildings and make this location a more permanent home for future reenactments.
