Lola’s has rolled out their new fall menu featuring a maple cinnamon latte, caramel apple chai and a pumpkin crumble latte.
Trivia nights at Lola’s will also continue this fall. The next trivia night is this Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
“The building for Lola’s was already set up to be a coffee house when we bought it.” said co-manager Krista Brown “Lola means grandma which is the language of the Philippines. (co-manager) Andrea (Vinluan) and I are both Grandmas. Andrea has some Filipino in her family line and her grandkids call her Lola, so that’s where we got the name.”
Brown said Lola’s is meant to be a place where students and residents of Grant County can come together.
“My favorite drinks here are their chai’s, teas and lemonades.” customer Geme Santos said.
